More Houses

The Documented Life Project prompt was use stamps in a different way.  I used several Angel Company stamps: solid background stamps and the curved squares you see on the roof and as windows.  I also used a word stamp (not sure what company) as the body of one house and the roof of another.  I enjoyed having to think of unique ways to use my stamps.

I really like the look of stamping on encyclopedia pages. The words add a lot to the little houses.  I used deckle scissors to make the grass. I traced around all the houses with a black Neocolor II crayon.

The background is actually a black and white copy of one of the distressed backgrounds on the previous page.  I used a wash of green and blue paint on the background.
