Memories Made In Flip Flops

This is my page for the "favorite shoes" challenge for The Documented Life Project.  Nothing makes me happier than to be sockless and wearing flip flops of one kind or another.  I have several different styles that give me very happy feet.

The flip flops, flowers and edging all came from a paper napkin.  The background is white gesso with a coat of beige on top.  I pressed a place mat into the wet paint to get the cool design.

The words were written with my brand new Liquitex Green Paint Pen. I really like the Liquitex paint pens.

  1. Such a restful page. A page looking forward to warmer days, walks on the beach and squidging toes in the damp sand. Love it! And I really like the way you did the background :o)

  2. What a beautiful, tranquil summery page. I can almost feel the sand between my toes. It always makes me laugh that in Australia they call flip flops thongs. That much cause some cultural confusion.Happy PPF

  3. I am pea green with envy over your printing - I love it - fantastic!
Your page is wonderfully designed and full of pretty colors. Bravo Kid!

  4. A lovely way to save your memories. I have only just found the art of journaling and the Documented Life Project Group. Happy creating.

    1. I hope you enjoy art journaling as much as I do. It makes me sooo happy. Thanks for visiting.
