Dancing Starts Within the Heart

This is a mask that I cut from a photo I found online last year.  I don't know why it was sitting on my desk but it was and I had to use it again. The purple one is cut from an encyclopedia page and the other two are stenciled.  I love that it looks like they are running across the page.

The quote by Tom Robbins says The Place To Dance Is Within the Heart.  I think this is a Stampendous Stamp.

I did this page on one our recent sunny, warm days.  After a long winter, I have this urge to just run out in the sunshine.  Since I'm out of shape and do not run... this was the next best thing.

A recent Journal 52 prompt was to journal about my life or something I love to do... My art is what I love to do.  Creating makes me feel like I'm dancing!

  2. beautiful! I have that stamp too:) I love to walk and so far we've only had a few days of good walking weather (my body can't tolerate the cold) so I too am dying to get out in some WARM sunshine and walk-or dance:) Happy PPF!

  5. Beautiful page Boo! Dancing certainly does begin within the heart. How many dancers will never 'make it' but dance with passion and always as if no-one is watching. I wish I had been encouraged to dance like that as a child when I dreamt of being a ballerina but got told I was too fat (Fairy elephant actually). Hence my online name these days - a little 'kick back', if you like.
Your colours here are gorgeous, and they do look like they are dancing across the page. The words are just wonderful :o) xx

  6. What fabulous frolicsome fun your dancers are having. It's heading to winter here so I am looking forward to being weighed down for a while instead of dancing. :-)
