You Need One of These

YOU NEED ONE OF THESE.....

Do you have a friend that ever says that to you?   

I think friends that say that are very prevalent in the world of

Mixed Media Art.  I think that Tim Holtz and other designers

are very happy we have friends like that. 

I have been known to say those words to some of my fellow

artists and I've heard them many times.  The most recent hearing

of those words was from my friend, Ann.  "Boo," she says, You really need one of these Pencil Cases."  Then she proceeds to

tell me I need the one that will hold 48 pencils because she bought

the smaller one and had to go back and buy a second one.  

We were at Plaza Arts and we had a 30% off coupon in our hot little hands so of course I bought one.  I had no clue it I'd really like

it and I'm sure I didn't NEED it.  

I was wrong.  I love this Pencil Case by Global Art Materials.  It holds all the Inktense Pencils (24) I own as well as my Sabilo All Pencils, my favorite white Signo Gel Pen, my white Sakura Gel pen, a set of black Faber Castell permanent pens, a Sakura Indenti pen, a couple of Micro pens, a Uni-ball Vision pen and a water brush.  I also stash a small eraser in it. I'll probably add a pencil sharpener when I find a small one.

                        

I like having all of these supplies in one place and so organized. Today, I was in a hurry to finish a project.  I was down to the little details and this case had everything I needed.  It was packed and ready to go. All I had to do is grab it and go out the door.  It was wonderful.

The case is a great size. When closed it only measures about 4.5 x 7.5 inches. It's very easy for me to hold in my hand.  Now I wish I had one for my scissors.  Maybe I'll ask Ann.... I bet she will know where to find the perfect thing for scissors.  I only have one thing left to say.....
