I'm participating in a surprise Tea
Party for my friend, Tracey Fletcher King, that Paint
Party Friday
is hosting today. I am honored to
be part of this party.
Tracey is one of my online friends. I've never met her in person. She lives on
different continent than I do. Heck, she lives in a different
hemisphere. That makes no difference at all. I love to read her blog. We email from time to time and we are part
of a Mixed Media Group on facebook.
I chose this quote because it reminds me of Tracey. She is one of the bravest and funniest people that I know. Her blog has me laughing all the time. If I'm feeling down, all I have to do is read one of her old posts and I'm laughing out loud.
Tracey is facing some serious health issues right now. I call her brave because she is facing those issues with courage and humor. She's not hiding or feeling sorry for herself. She is facing it head on and she is willing to share it with her friends. Talking about scary personal stuff is a very brave thing to do. We will never know how many people she is helping by being willing to talk about it.
I cannot begin to tell you how much I admire Tracey. She is a very talented artist. She is caring and funny and she faces what life sends her way with great poise. I am honored to know Tracey who is just like the teapot.... she continues to sing even when she is up to her neck in hot water.
Great post (love the teapot).
