The Gelli Plate May Be A Stamper's New Best Friend because the Gelli Plate makes scrumptious backgrounds and textured paper in a matter of seconds.
Check out my pumpkins... they look 3-D and very textured. That's the Gelli Print. There is no way I could ever have stamped or inked the background to get that cool texture in all those different shades and colors. Easy peasy with the Gelli Print.
One of the things that is so great about Gelli Prints is how they change in different settings. This background was almost ugly as a whole page but it's perfect for the background of a card.
I'm just tickled pink (or orange} with how this card turned out The branch and pumpkins are sizzix dies. The bat is a $1 stamp from my friend, Anna.

You are so right- I could never get the looks I get from the Gelli Plate with only a paintbrush! Awesome pumpkins! So glad you shared this with the party!
ReplyDeleteThose pumpkins are AWESOME!!! I have been gelli plate resistant (will it be one more thing that sits on my shelf that I don't use???), but you and your darn awesome pumpkins are making me want to grab my credit card! Also, that bat is adorable...did it come with the stamp set that has that awesome cat face on it?
ReplyDeleteThe bat was a stamp Anna sent me. It was an individual stamp probably from the $1 bin.
DeleteThis is amazing Boo! And I think the background is super amazing. Those colours are WOW :0) x
ReplyDeleteWhenever I can get to my craft room, I will have to give my Gelli plate some attention. You sound like a real pro Boo. Wonderful texture!
