I've really enjoyed the Summer of Color 3. I'm sorry that its ending. This is my week 6 project. The colors were Sage and Sepia.
The background colors are a gelli print. The I used Claudine Helmuth Bird and Branch stamp.
The branch was stamped onto the background. The bird I stamped on Sage Paper with Versa Mark and embossed with clear powder.
The text on the bird is a Hero Arts stamps. The background was stamped with a Tin Can Mail stamp. The tiny words are Tim Holtz rubons. The white is gesso and made with a small container lid.
This is wonderful Boo. All the different elements you used make it so special :0)
ReplyDeleteThis is wonderful painting. I love the text, it makes painting very interesting.

Great background for your bird! Thanks for sharing with the party!
ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful!. Whenever I saw birds on journal pages, I always enjoy seeing if there is any words, script or musical notes in the background. These are their songs!. And this cute guy seemed to be a happy, chatty one :). LOVE!

You are really productive and this summer. I really do not have a clue how you did this even though I read you post. I have to see something done to understand it.
