I am loving my Gelli Plate. I have instant backgrounds ready whenever I need one. The background of this card is a left over piece of a Gelli Print. The print was made using a round place mat. The stamps are Unity/Donna Downey. I'm loving these really tall flower (almost 8"). The word is a Hero Arts Stamp I've had for years.
This is a birthday card for my friend, Robin. It's late, once again.

I love this! I want one!
ReplyDeleteThose Gelli prints can be so handy! The movement with the circles in the background create such a wonderful place for the flowers! Thrilled you shared this with the party!
ReplyDeleteI like the interesting curving shapes and lines and flowing movement! Thanks for sharing on Mandarin Orange Monday:)
ReplyDeleteThose lines were done with a place mat. I bought a round place mat at the dollar three. Each circle was stitched. It works so well on the Gelli plate.
DeleteThanks for stopping by.
Never thought of using a place mat, but I love your gorgeous background.
ReplyDeleteI really love the round place mat background. I'm going to have to look out for one of those.
ReplyDeleteSimple design, yet oh so lovely by combining your background and stamps.
ReplyDeleteStay inspired!
Great use of a piece of a print...I like making cards too so this is a great idea.
