Happy 100th to France Papillon

One of my favorite people to watch on Youtube is Frances Papillon. She does Journal on Monday and is celebrating her 100th JoM video this week. There is just something about listening to her talk as I watch her create. Maybe it's her wonderful accent. She has a very soothing quality to her voice. Her works is fantastic. She tries things I wouldn't think to try in a journal. Congratulations, Frances. You inspire me.

This page is done in my one of my altered books with mostly recycled materials. The background is a gelli print using copy paper from the recycle bin at my office. I clean my paint brush on pages from an old encyclopedia and the most of the dragonflies were punched those pages using an old EK Success punch. The hot pink one is punched from a piece of deli paper. Deli paper is difficult to punch so I glued it to a piece of card stock first.

The quote I found on Facebook. The lines were made with green and orange craft paint and a credit card. An old credit card is a great inexpensive craft tool.
