My art is about the joy of creating and experimenting. The act of creating is more important than the result. The time spent is a form of worship and thanksgiving to my Creator for my gifts and talents.

Art Day with a Friend
I had a great time on Friday with my friend, Theresa. I went to her house and played with her toys. These cards are part of my very prolific art day. Thank you, T for the fun day and the pizza!!
The challenge this week at Journal 52 is create something about Nature. These flowers are from two different Stampin' Up sets. The Script words are from The Angel Company. I'm not sure who made the quote.
The far left card background was made by picking up ink from Distressed ink pads with pieces of masking tape and then transferring it to the paper.
The background rectangle on the other two cards is a background stamp from the Stampin Up flower stamp,
The speckles were made by mixing a bit of water and some Distressed ink on a craft sheet and then picking it up with a toothbrush. I ran my thumb over the bristles to get the speckles.
