Play Is Important

This page was done with Liquitex Heavy Body paint and a catalyst tool. This is the first time I've used heavy body paint and I really like it. A little water and the catalyst tool made the cool striped texture.

The tree was hand cut from the inside of an envelope. I used the quote because I just finished the book, The Gift of Imperfection, by Brene Brown. There is a chapter on the importance of play.

I suggest this book to you. It's a wonderful.

  1. You have made such a cool effect with the Liquitex paint and the tool. You are so right ....play is so important. The biggest problem for me in art is when is it finished, when is it perfect?...but so often you have to just let it go at a certain time.....Happy PPF

I don't know of anyone who has more fun with artistic play than you Boo and you do such a fabulous job at it too! Love the playful and beautiful colors!!

    1. Thanks, Janet. I think we artists know a little bit more about play than some people.
