The Documented Life Project prompt number 3 was to use snail mail in your journal. I have received very cool snail from several Mixed Media Friends. I use pieces of an envelope I received from Bibi at Rubber Dance
(previously called Nature's Print Shop).
I started by journaling about my week. Then I used some Golden High flow paint over the journaling and then collaged things from Bibi's envelope. My two favorite stamps she used are the Snail Mail and the NO BENDY! I also really like the two ladies hugging.
This page was done with one hand and a couple of gloved fingers from the other hand. It is difficult for an artist not to get her hands wet or dirty for 10 days...OK whining over. It's also a pain to type one handed ... now whining is really over. Thanks for stopping by for a visit.

Hope your thumb is healing up nicely. You are doing great with limited fingers to use. I love the collage.
ReplyDeleteBoo, this is awesome. I love the snail mail and the hug. The No Bendy reminds me of "No Soup For You!" Your one-handed art is beautiful! Hugs, Pamikins!
ReplyDeletethanks!!
DeleteWhat a fun page, Boo! well done, and with one hand + 2 digits at that! I hope you feel better really soon. I'm sure you will be dancing on your hands in no-time (if not literally ...).
ReplyDeleteThank you for using my mail art on your journal page and for the link to my website!
XOX,

Great page and done with a limited hand- makes it even more wow!
ReplyDeleteThanks! It's a challenge with one hand
DeleteI am in this journal project too. . . I love what you did with the envelope. Blessings, Janet PPF
ReplyDeleteThe stamps are great and the background an awesome shade of pink. If this isn't two handed art, just think how even more awesomer (hehe), you will be when your hand is all healed and back on painterly duty. Look forward to seeing that :o) x
