UR Me

I found this quote on Juicy Joy's facebook  Nothing would be the same if you did not exist.  Every place you have ever been and everyone you have ever spoken to would be different without you.  We are all connected, and we are all affected by the decisions and even the existence of those around us.

The quote really spoke to me.  It reminded me of all the wonderful people that I have met in the art world and how we affect each other. Joyce called me to go to Plaza Art for free demos.  That renewed my desire to be creative.  I found a DY on line and joined her facebook group.  I meet many wonderful people who were interested in Art Journaling.  I started M3 and told Lori , T and other TS friends about it.   6 months later we took a class from Beth who I met at free demo day.  Lori got messy and her life has been enriched.  I have made fantastic friends that span the globe.  All of that happened because Joyce asked me to go the Nashville with her.

Did she have any clue how many lives would be affected?   Probably not.  Did she know that it would bring me back to life in a way I haven't been for 5 years?  No... she justed wanted to spend some time with me.  I really love Joyce and enjoy spending time with her.  That day was fun and my life has changed forever.  Thanks, Joyce.

How was it done?
Gesso the page.
Background is Inktense pencils and a bit of water over the gesso.
The figure is a Tim Holtz die, a Mary Engelbreit stamp and Legs by me.
The words were cut from several magazines.
The quote is from Juicy Joy.

This page did not want to come together.  I wanted to give up.  My inner child was all over finishing this page and spurred me on when I was ready to quit.  I did the whole page wishing the quote said I instead of you and that little kid in me finally said... I'm doing this page for you.  Let me finish it and it came together a flash..... thus  UR me
