Are We There Yet?

Are We There Yet?  I don't know how many times my dad heard me ask that question.  I probably asked it before we were off our street.  :). This page is for my Dad, who now calls himself, The Old Guy.  He will celebrate his 90th birthday in August.

The page was done in stages on different days.  The houses were doodles I did on the back of something I didn't love a while back.  The background is a Gelli print from last week.  The bird and car are both Tim Holtz sizzix dies cut from book pages.

I drew the tree trunk and limbs with my finger.  The leaves are done with three colors of green and a piece of bubble wrap.

  1. Hey Boo! I love this too!! I have to admit I am chomping at the bit. I have a fractured right hip and cannot get down to my craft room. This page tells me you are having fun and I am having fun watching you having fun!!!!

  2. I still ask the "are we there yet" in the car! Love how the tree spreads over both pages! Great way to add texture with the Gelli print! So glad you shared this with the party!
