Learn To fly.... Try Something Different

I cut up piece of gelli prints and wove them on the page. Then I used a wash of gesso & paint. I used light dry wall spackle to make the ovals. Have no clue if they will crumble or not. The stuff is 5 years old. It was kind of soft so I could stamp into it which gave it some really cool texture. I used a several different stamps. Some were Hero Arts, Clear Snap & Penny Black.

This page was just playing with "stuff" I had. It's a little different for me and at one point it was soooo ugly. I'm so glad I've meet so many of you who say... "just keep adding layers." It really worked this time.  A friend who does not have a Gelli Plate asked me what I did with all those prints. Today I cut them up and it was fun!!!

  2. I can feel the play! You are so right- many of my play pages go through the uglies but there is not even of a hint of any of that in what you've posted today! Love all your texture and bright colors! So glad you shared this with the party!
