Let Your Dreams Take Flight

The background was done with layers of paint.  The blue was where I'd cleaned a brush.  Then I added pink flower petals made by squishing a toilet paper roll.  Next, I used several size round objects to make increasingly smaller circles. Then a little gesso painted onto bubble wrap.  Finally, a Tim Holtz Swirl stamp in black and Hero Arts words in blue.

The word Dance is stamped on pink tulle and heat embossed.  As you heat the powder the tulle draws up giving the curly edge.  I scanned this and so part of the tulle is covering the E. The Black wings are Prima stamps on tulle and embossed.

The woman was cut from a magazine & painted black and the sprinkled with black glitter. Her skirt was made by gathering the tulle with black thread.  Her wings were embossed with white on tulle.

Finally, I wrote the words on a piece of tulle.  If you want to write on tulle you have to tape it to a piece of paper or it moves around.
