The way the edges of everyday things look when inked and stamped on paper intrigue me. I was trying to make circles for a project and used the bottom of a coffee cup to get the size circle I wanted. Since then I look at the edges of things in a different way.
This piece was done with Tim Holtz Distressed Ink and lots of edges. The bottom of a disposable cup, the edge of an acrylic block, a little bottle that holds bling, the top of a glue stick with fishnet hose over it, a piece of the stuff you put under a rug to keep it from moving, and other things I can not longer remember were all used.
I may be becoming obsessed with making backgrounds!
making background paper is so addictive. very nice.
