A friend told me about the blog Peony and Parakeet. I found a tutorial for this luscious background on her blog. My rendition of her idea reminds me of Easter Eggs.
The basic background colors were made with Tim Holtz Distressed Ink and a water brush. All I did was make different shaped circles of color and then doodled on top with pens and markers.
