This is my first prompt for A Year in the Life of an Art Journal. The theme was do a page about my word for 2013. My word is Stretch. I've included some of the things I want to do to stretch myself creatively. I really want to do something creative every day. I want to learn lettering and a little drawing. I'm not a huge fan of doodling so I'm going to find my "style" of doodling because it's quick and I can do it when I'm tired and I'm resting in my favorite chair.
I had a good time using the pearlescent paint that I've had for years. Another goal for me is to use the supplies I have. I have so many and I'd like to learn to use them in new and different ways. I have cool paint brushes and I have no idea how to use them for their intended purpose. One has short and long bristles. Another one looks like a fan. I plan to read up on them and see what I can learn.
Great job on your first post!
